Pastor Tim Tippins

Pastor Tim Tippins has been a member of New Victoria Baptist Church since 2003. He has served in multiple leadership roles within the church. In 2013 Pastor Tim accepted the position as our Student Minister.  He has pastored New Victoria since 2019 beginning as an interim pastor and now the Senior Pastor. He has an Associate’s Degree in Speech and Communication from Middle Georgia College and Bachelor of Arts from West Georgia University. He is currently pursuing a Masters in Divinity from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.

The most evident quality of Pastor Tim is his fervor for the proclamation of God's word and discipleship for those who have received it.  His passion is to walk with Christ, proclaim His truth, and fulfill His commandments.

Tim is married to his lovely wife Margaret, for 11 years.  They have two children, Ava Grace and Brady.

Worship and Youth Leader, Darin Peppers

Darin began serving NVBC in March of 2018.  Darin leads our Sunday Morning Encounter Worship.   Darin has been involved in church ministry as a missionary, youth pastor, and now worship leader since 1999.   His passion is to see men, women, boys and girls fully following Christ radically and having a good time doing it!

Darin is involved with First Priority of Metro Atlanta, an organization that unites local churches in communities to reach Middle and High School students through campus club missions.  He also teaches school at Holly Springs Elementary School in Cherokee County.

Darin has been married to his wife Amy, for 31 years. They have a daughter, Carlee, a son, Cameron, a daughter in law, Abigail and granddaughters, Hadley and Lily.

Children and Family Pastor, Chris Grauso

Chris and Polly have been married for 16 years. They have two very active boys; JT who is 16 and Mitchell who is 9.  In addition to being an active Deacon, Chris has served as Youth Pastor at Carrollton First Baptist Church in Carrollton, GA, Macedonia Baptist Church in Raleigh, N.C., and New Victoria Baptist Church, in Woodstock, GA. Chris has participated in numerous other local ministry/missionary projects. However, his mission-minded work is not limited to local ministry; Chris has served on International Mission Teams that have traveled to India, Portugal, and Mexico.  Our Children's ministry focuses on discipling kids who will, in turn, impact their friends, families, and world for Jesus Christ!

Chris and his family are honored to serve the Church's future leaders and want to team up with families (parents) as we teach our young kids the truth in God's Word.  Our God is bigger than the problems we are facing and the problems your kids will face.  Let's commit to being Deuteronomy 6 parents and be intentional to teach our children as we go through life together.

4 Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. 5 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. 6 These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. 7 Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. 8 Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. 9 Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.

Youth Pastor,

Joseph Mize

God’s timing is perfect. We are the ones who have to trust Him and walk it out in faith.

We are Joseph and McKay Mize and we are very excited to be welcomed into the New Victoria Baptist Church family. In September of 2018, we did not know at the time that we were having coffee with our future spouses. Fast forward to June of 2020, God reconnected us in the middle

of the world being isolated. Two years later we said,

“I do” to each other.

We now live in the Canton area on a little backyard farm named Jubilee Farms. We have many animals that fly,

sting, kick, jump, run, cluck, bark, meow, baaaaaaa, gobble, and like to ride in wheel barrows.

We both devoted our lives to Christ early in life. Now as a married couple, we love to pour into the next generation. God placed NVBC in our lives at this specific time for a reason. We are humbled to be trusted to lead this next generation into a deeper love with God the Father, Jesus

Christ, and Holy Spirit. We pray that they will become torches of hope to a generation who wonders if there is any hope.

Our life verse is Matthew 6:33- But seek first the kingdom of

God and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Hero Academy Director,

Jennifer Welton

I am so excited to be the Hero After School Club Director this year.  I have been blessed the last 2 years to be able to help in Hero and to get to know some of your kiddos.  My heart has been to work with kids and to teach them about God and his love through his Word ever since I met Jesus. My prayer is that we all have a safe and fun year growing and learning about God and that this ministry blesses your family.
