Pastor Tim Tippins

Pastor Tim Tippins has been a member of New Victoria Baptist Church since 2003. He has served in multiple leadership roles within the church. In 2013 Pastor Tim accepted the position as our Student Minister.  He has pastored New Victoria since 2019 beginning as an interim pastor and now the Senior Pastor. He has an Associate’s Degree in Speech and Communication from Middle Georgia College and Bachelor of Arts from West Georgia University. He is currently pursuing a Masters in Divinity from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.


The most evident quality of Pastor Tim is his fervor for the proclamation of God's word and discipleship for those who have received it.  His passion is to walk with Christ, proclaim His truth, and fulfill His commandments.


Tim is married to his lovely wife Margaret, for 11 years.  They have two children, Ava Grace and Brady.


Worship and Youth Leader, Darin Peppers

Darin began serving NVBC in March of 2018.  Darin leads our Sunday Morning Encounter Worship.   Darin has been involved in church ministry as a missionary, youth pastor, and now worship leader since 1999.   His passion is to see men, women, boys and girls fully following Christ radically and having a good time doing it!


Darin is involved with First Priority of Metro Atlanta, an organization that unites local churches in communities to reach Middle and High School students through campus club missions.  He also teaches school at Holly Springs Elementary School in Cherokee County.    


Darin has been married to his wife Amy, for 31 years. They have a daughter, Carlee, a son, Cameron, a daughter in law, Abigail and granddaughters, Hadley and Lily.  

Fran Smith, Children's Director


Fran Smith is a graduate of the University of Georgia and has spent years serving children as a teacher, bringing a wealth of experience, wisdom, and a genuine love for helping young people grow and succeed.


Most importantly, Fran has a heart for Jesus and for the next generation. In her own words:


“Hi, my name is Fran, and I am a grateful believer in Jesus Christ. I’m a wife and mom of two, and I am honored to be at New Victoria and serve as the Children’s Ministry Director. My heart is to help children know God’s love, grow in their faith, and discover that they are deeply valued by Him. It is a joy to partner with families as we nurture the next generation of Christ-followers. I strive to lead with faith, humility, and compassion, trusting God to guide every step of this ministry.”


Student Pastor, 

Josh Witkoski

Josh and Anna met in 2019 while serving together at The Wilds Christian Camp in North Carolina and were married in May 2020. From the beginning, serving others has been an important part of their story together.


Josh studied Youth Ministries at Ambassador Baptist College and has a heart for investing in the next generation. He brings a strong work ethic, adaptability, and a genuine desire to help students know Jesus, grow in their faith, and discover how God can use their lives.


Anna graduated from Shorter University in 2020 with a degree in music. She shares Josh’s passion for serving others, and her love for music continues to be an important part of both her life and ministry.


Together, Josh and Anna enjoy traveling, trying new foods, spending time with their dog and cat, and visiting one of their favorite places—Disney World!

Jennifer Welton

I am so excited to be the Hero After School Club Director this year.  I have been blessed the last 2 years to be able to help in Hero and to get to know some of your kiddos.  My heart has been to work with kids and to teach them about God and his love through his Word ever since I met Jesus. My prayer is that we all have a safe and fun year growing and learning about God and that this ministry blesses your family.
